Toad of Toad hall
Beaufort Players Ealing
The Beaufort stage is a typical church hall size space so for the set of toad we used many canvas backdrops and minimal props. Yes, that’s me playing Mole alongside my late husband Michael who was playing the role of Ratty. I was later to re visit the Wind in the Willows in the open air venue of Cliveden with the Maidenhead Players.
